Today's Look : Raplh & Russo look

The strikingly beautiful fashionista Sonam Kapoor, recently looked magnificent in a Raplh & Russo Haute Couture spring 2014 collection for the India Hall of Fame Awards. This pale blue silk organza appliqués skirt and black wool crepe peplum jacket totally looks amazing with the beautiful hair do and the bow. She complimented her look with a Judith Leiber bow clutch and Nirav Modi jewelry.

The Liebster Award: My First Blog Award

It's been really long since i was presented with this blog award; almost a month i guess or more than that. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the presenter Miss Saadia from Bits and Pieces for presenting me this award. I really feel honored to have this award from my first blog reader. Thank you for inspiring me to start-up this blog and also for commenting on my blog posts.

1. What genre of movies do you like best?

A. Comedy, cooking, fashion, business movies spiced up with slight romance

2. Are you multilingual? If so, which languages can you speak?

A. Yes, English, Hindi, Bengali, Arabic (Basic) and Spanish ( still learning)

3. What's the strangest character about you in your opinion?

A. I fail to compliment a person whole- heartedly (I have seen people feel bad when I do that sadly)...i believe that a person can always do better so she/he should keep trying and getting too much of compliments or full grade can make them work less harder.

4. Which was the happiest moment in your life till date?

A. Getting to represent my university in the Enterprise Challenge Finale

5. List some of your role models.

A. Since I'm a Muslim, so obviously Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is my first role model then my mom ( for being the perfect mother, teacher and best friend) and lastly Dr. Feda, my favorite linguistic professor who made me realise my interest in Linguistics.

6. What's your favorite season?

A. I love summer season because of the brightness it spreads around.

7. What are your top 3 hobbies?

A.1. Calligraphy

8. What's the one dream that you wish to come true?

A. To have a happy married life In Sha Allah

9. Are you an introvert or extrovert? (this question is not supposed to be considered in a negative sense. Both types are good in their unique way)

A. Partially introvert. I don't like talking to anybody or everybody , has to be my type person.

10. Do you like crowds and hanging out in groups? (strange question? I ask because I feel it says a lot about a person)

A. I don't like crowded places; i feel irritated and restless. However, i like hanging out in groups with people who have similar interests as mine.

11. Everyone has that one special thing they do when they're bored to death. What is it in your case?

A. I watch fashion shows, or new TV serials or dramas.

1. I can't control my anger; i take really long time to cool down ( i wish i could get over it asap )

2. I'm too sensitive I guess.

3. I hate rains; i feel mood off when it rains ( weird !!)

4. I have fear of heights (acrophobia) and animals (zoo phobia)

5. I love entrepreneurship. I can't wait to be a businesswomen.

I'm not posting 11 questions for them since one of them has already been nominated for Leibester Award many times and the other blogger is inactive at the moment. Today's Look: The Classy Cruz Style

Ileana D'Cruz !!! Yes she's one of those most fashionable actresses from Tollywood now a part of Bollywood. She always manages to reach the top in her style and fashion sense. She was recently spotted wearing this beautiful grey skirt and floral printed top from Dhruv Kapoor's winter collections. She paired it up with nude Christian Louboutin pumps.She also wore these vintage heart studs from Pierre Lang. I love her bold earrings with each dress. She totally looks fabulous with that hairstyle. Wooow i just love all of her dresses.

Today's Look: Huntington Early Spring Look

On an early spring day, with the cold breeze around , you decide to go for an outing. In this lovely weather , a pair of jeans paired up with a black and white pullover sweater gives you that perfect comfortable look . Huntington- Whiteley, the former Victoria Secret Model was spotted recently in a Chloe striped pullover sweater with Jane Zip ultra skinny corduroys from Paige Denim. She paired it up with red Saffiano Tall Bowling Bag from Kurt Geiger and heels from  Brian Atwood's 'Abel' shoes. I absolutely love this simple , comfortable look.

Tired of wearing your boring formals everyday? try this elegant smart look . Actress Yoo In Na wears this transparent blue knit top from Time , a leading fashion brand in Korea. The embroidered lace skirt is from Jill Stuart, a New York based fashion line. She pairs it up with nude heels . She manages to pull off the look easily with her light orange makeup.

 

 

Today’s look: Vintage Indian Look

The Sabyasachi collection at the Shree Maha Raj Jeweler’s India Couture Week 2014 was mind-blowing.  The incredibly fantabulous embroidery on the sarees were marvelous. One of the pieces was recently donned by the stunningly gorgeous Deepika Padukone at the Happy New Year music Launch. I love the way she carries off the sarees on each occasion. This time it’s a nude colored net saree with heavy embellishments. The vintage layered petticoat with the heavily embroidered blouse makes the person look elegant and graceful. I like the cuff details at the end of the blouse. Pair it up with nude heels and pearl studded earrings. A perfect graceful attire for a wedding reception.

Today's Makeup: Glowing Sexy Lips

Want to know a trendy lip color that's going to be on for the coming spring? It’s one of the brightest colors from your palette. It can easily brighten up your face and give it a shiny lively look. The color for spring is the color of tangerines. Yes, you guessed it right it’s none other than my favorite orange color. Applying it in different ways with the matte and varieties can make you look attractive and sexy. Use the different shades of orange for different occasions. For better results, try using the lip gloss first then apply the lipstick on it. Take inspiration from the looks of the top actresses from different film industries.

Today’s look: Look Like Da Jeong

Can you imagine yourself falling in love with a prime minister and getting married?? Im Yoona (Nam Da Jeong)  from SNSD, plays a fantastic role as the wife of the prime minister in the drama Prime minister and i. I love her acting as a chirpy, bright girl trying to live up to everyone’s expectations. Her fashionable bright colored dresses complement with her bright character. The pink lace dress in the picture was worn by her for the prime minister’s banquet. This La Chateau bright pink dress is perfect for formal events. Her lilac heels complete the look. 

Today's Look: Go Aqua the Taylor Way

With the summer nearing its end, Taylor Swift wore this lovely textured pencil skirt with textured sleeveless zip back crop top by Aqua. She styled the look with her Christian Louboutin pink lady peep pumps and the Dolce and Gabbana Miss Sofia textured green Leather bag. The red lipstick and short hair add to her exquisitely divine look. A perfect look for your summer outing.

Today's Look: A Frou Frou Dress

With the LFW 2014 (Lakme Fashion Week) coming to an end, I happened to come across this particular designer with aesthetic designer dresses and saris. Anyone can fall in love with Archana Rao’s intelligently designed simple dresses for different age groups. This black & white twisted dress by Frou Frou clothing looks chic and elegant for any business event or outings. I totally fell in love with the sheer green blossom skirt. The embroidery at the end makes it more special. The look can be completed with silver heels by Zara and a light pink Givenchy clutch.
